Family, Friends Use Facebook to Find Missing Young Man

July 30, 2010

On goodneighborstories.com there is a new story about how the search for Jackson Miller, 20, has gone to the pages of Facebook. Jackson went missing on May 15, just a little more than two months ago. Five days after his disappearance friends of Jackson’s set up a Facebook page: “Jackson Miller, Missing – Help Us Find Him”. Within a week of the page’s creation, more than 1,000 people had become friends of the page. Today there are more than 1,400 friends. Jackson’s mom, Gina Funaro, has debated what Jackson, a very private person, might think of the page. But she’s decided that getting her son to safety takes precedence. It’s an interesting story. I hope many people will read it and help Jackson’s family find him.
